Mira Lepur
Director of Public institution Development agency of Šibenik – Knin County
Mira Lepur expertise includes strategic development, communications and branding of regions and territories, public policies, funds and project management.
After completing a music master's degree in piano in Munich, Mira completed a second trilingual master's degree in Business intelligence and Management of International development in Strasbourg.
In 2006, she moved to Brussels where she has been working for private and public sector organisations as a branch manager, project manager and a lobbyist to the European Parliament. Her final position within the European Commission was as a senior consultant on the ESCO (multilingual classification of European Skills, Competences, Qualifications and Occupations) project.
In 2015 Mira returned to Croatia to take on the role of Director of the Development Agency of Šibenik-Knin County where she currently works closely with local leaders to develop regional strategies and implement regional and local development projects. Besides managing various infrastructure and „soft“ projects, Mira frequently moderates panel discussions, supports NGOs and writes articles for local, national and professional publications related to regional development and branding of public places.
She is an active member of numerous national committees, a member of the board at the European Project Development Association (EPA) in Brussels, president of the Emedea, the association for sustainable development and the representative of the Šibenik-Knin County at the RegHub, an advisory body of the European Committee of Regions in Brussels.
Mira is fluent in French and English and has a working knowledge of German.
