Saša Čegar

Saša Čegar, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, works at the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Economics and Business as the holder and co-holder of several undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate courses within the Department of National Economy and Development. Assistant Professor Čegar is one of the main researchers at the Centre for Local Economic Development of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Rijeka - CLER d.o.o., where he has worked on numerous projects related to the preparation of specialised studies and analytical bases, as well as strategic and programmatic documents for planning, adoption or evaluation of development policies at local, county and state levels. To date, he has published numerous scientific articles in relevant publications and participated in numerous international and national scientific conferences. Due to his rich experience in the field of local and regional development, he has also served as an expert member of numerous working groups of the Ministry of Regional Development and EU funds for the preparation of regulations and planning documents for the initiation and monitoring of the development of islands and other areas with development peculiarities in the Republic of Croatia.
