Ivo Grgić

Ivo Grgić is a full professor at the Faculty of Agriculture in Zagreb, where he teaches several courses. He has also taught at other faculties in Zagreb, Knin and Split. He has been a visiting professor in Slovenia, Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. He has studied in Slovenia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Spain, Greece, etc.

He is the leader and collaborator of numerous scientific, professional, developmental and other projects and has published more than 150 scientific and professional articles/publications. He is the author and co-author of several books, textbooks and manuals. He is an editor of several books and a reviewer for several textbooks and undergraduate programs. He serves on the editorial boards of several journals.

His academic interests include agricultural policy and rural development and rural tourism, particularly agritourism.

He is a member, founder and two-term president of the Croatian Society of Agricultural Economics. He is an associate member of the International Academy of Sciences and Arts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a member of the Croatian Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Matica Hrvatska, HKD Napredak and the Association of Croats of Bosnia and Herzegovina Prsten, where he is president of the Prsten Foundation
